During his six-year run in the NFL, Jim Sorgi was best known for backing up Peyton Manning with the Indianapolis Colts. He never started a game in his career and never threw more than 3 touchdowns or 444 yards in a season.

In 16 appearances, the former Wisconsin Badger threw six touchdowns to one interception on a completion percentage of 63.5%. His best season came in 2005 when the second-year pro threw for 444 yards and 3 touchdowns in a career-high five appearances. His AV for the year was two as the Colts went 1-1 in the two contests Sorgi attempted at least 30 passes.

Sorgi last threw an NFL pass in 2009 at the age of 29.
