Fantasy Football: One Breakout Candidate From Every NFL Team
Will Fuller, WR, Houston Texans
Will Fuller started his career with a bang, posting back-to-back 100-yard games in Weeks 1 and 2 last year. He averaged 4.5 catches and 105.5 yards per game across those first two contests while scoring 1 touchdown.
That's where the good feels end, as Fuller failed to go over 81 yards in any game the rest of the way, putting up at least 60 yards in just 2 of his final 12 contests.
Fuller was pretty much as advertised -- a speedster with questionable hands -- and finished the year with 47 catches for 635 yards and 2 scores.
He'll likely always have some boom-or-bust to him because of his skillset, but the Houston Texans desperately need a number-two option behind DeAndre Hopkins. Fuller, who was second on the team with 92 targets last year, will likely get every chance to be that guy, and if Houston gets better quarterback play, maybe his floor rises a bit.
Admittedly, Fuller may be better suited for best-ball formats, but as a late 14th-round pick in season-long leagues (WR68), there aren't many guys in that area with his play-making upside.
