If you're in search of a low-priced defense, the San Francisco 49ers are in a good spot this week and will surely carry a low ownership percentage.

With Carson Palmer out for the year, the Arizona Cardinals will turn to Drew Stanton at quarterback. Replacing Palmer late in the second quarter last week, Stanton predictably struggled to move the offense, throwing for only 66 yards with an interception while also getting sacked twice.

While the 49ers rank 15th in sacks this season, they've been able to put pressure on the quarterback, ranking third in quarterback hits (58), behind only the Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles. They should be able to add to their sack total this week as the Cardinals' offensive line has struggled, allowing the seventh-most sacks (24) and fourth-most quarterback hits (61) this season.

The Niners' defense could also get a significant boost if rookie linebacker Reuben Foster returns from a rib injury after missing Week 8.

This game is expected to be low scoring with Stanton and C.J. Beathard involved. Vegas has given this game a 39-point over/under, the lowest on the week. Since both offenses are likely to be anemic, both defenses are in play, but due to their price and the fact that they're the home team, the 49ers are worth a look if you're trying to save some salary cap space at defense.
