Robert Woods Will Be a Top-15 Wide Receiver

Why This Is Bold: Robert Woods has been consistent, yet unspectacular this season. He has yet to finish inside the top-20 wide receivers in any given week in point-per-reception (PPR) leagues, has yet to score a touchdown, and has only cleared 100 receiving yards once this season.

Why This Will Happen: Woods and the Los Angeles Rams take on the New York Giants this week, a team that has struggled to contain opposing passing games.

The Giants are slightly below average in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play, ranking 19th in the NFL -- and that's even with the terrific play of lockdown cornerback Janoris Jenkins. However, they'll be without Jenkins this week, which further upgrades Woods and the rest of the Los Angeles receiving corps.

Woods has been the most consistent of the Rams' receivers this season, due to the most stable target share from game to game. He's averaging 7 targets per game over the last five games, and has seen at least 6 targets over the same time span.
