This article is focusing on the main Sunday slate, so chalky plays on other days such as Adam Thielen, Mike Wallace, and the Pittsburgh Steelers duo of JuJu Smith-Schuster and Martavis Bryant will be brushed aside with this one sentence. There are only 12 games on Sunday this week, so options are somewhat limited. At the high end, we expect a lot of ownership to head the way of Michael Thomas and Keenan Allen. Thomas has been dynamite the past two weeks, including a 22.7 FanDuel point effort in Week 14 against the Falcons, this week's opponent. Allen gets one of the juiciest matchups on the slate against a New York Jets defense that has allowed an opposing receiver to reach 108 yards or a touchdown in four straight matchups. In the value range, Keelan Cole should be the most desired after three strong games in a row and a price of only $5,300.
Pivots
Larry Fitzgerald, $7,500 (vs New York Giants)
First off, let me just take a minute to point out that the Arizona Cardinals, helmed by Drew Stanton and a running back-by-committee likely consisting of Elijhaa Penny and D.J. Foster, are 3.5-point favorites this Sunday at home against the New York Giants. That is how bad the Giants defense has been. They're ranked 32nd against opposing quarterbacks and have given up 12 touchdowns to opposing wide receivers in the eight games since Week 6.
Larry Fitzgerald may not be as young as DeAndre Hopkins, but his ability to produce under any circumstances is just as impressive, if not more so. He's been playing with sub-par quarterbacks for most of his career, and that hasn't stopped him from totaling the third-highest receiving yardage total in history (if he plays one more season, he'll likely pass Terrell Owens for number two on the all-time list). In two games earlier this season with Stanton, Fitz performed admirably with 15 catches and 183 yards, including a 113-yard game against a Seahawks defense that still had Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor. A Stanton-Fitz stack in a very sneaky, likely-to-be-low-owned contrarian play that could reap big dividends.
Roger Lewis, $5,200 (at Arizona Cardinals)
On the other size of the field from Fitz, Roger Lewis will be in the most advantageous spot of any Giants receiver to excel. With Patrick Peterson likely shadowing Sterling Shepard and the Cardinals being a better-than-average team against tight ends, Lewis should continue to be heavily targeted and have a chance at a big game. The former Bowling Green University star has seen 21 targets thrown his way in the past two weeks, most on the team. He's turned that target share into a decent 8.75 FanDuel points per game in that span. He is by no means a safe play, but his extremely low ownership and high target share make him a pivot play to strongly consider this week.
