6. Darren Carrington, Utah Utes

Darren Carrington's best game by receiving market share came against North Dakota of the FCS, when he generated 55.9% of Utah's yardage (10 catches, 127 yards, 1 touchdown).

His next best game was against San Jose State, whose pass defense ranked 119th in S&P+. Carrington went for 153 yards and 3 scores on 9 catches. He scored just six times this season, so four of his touchdowns came in two games, against an FCS opponent and a weak pass defense.

Carrington, 6'3", 205 pounds, also broke a 40% receiving market share against the Stanford Cardinal (69th in pass defense) and Brigham Young Cougars (99th). None of these are overly surprising, given the competition, but he still did lead the charge for the Utes.

Plus! Carrington also produced 130 yards on 9 catches against the Oregon Ducks' 32nd-ranked pass defense -- on the road in Oregon. That was a 44.4% market share.

Overall, Carrington is a bit of a Rorschach test. You can probably see what you want to see with his production. In seven games against top-50 pass defenses, Carrington had some strong games and some duds.

But his size and dominator share on the 44th-ranked passing offense by S&P+ are overall promising for the prospect.
