Fantasy Football: Which Players Are Being Drafted at a Discount in 2018?
Kenny Stills, Wide Receiver
2017 ADP: 171st Overall
2018 ADP: Undrafted
Difference: -79
What does a young, home run-hitting deep threat with a big-time contract extension have to do to get some fantasy love? Apparently a lot more than Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills has been doing, as he is still going undrafted to this point in the offseason.
Last March, Stills inked a four-year, $32 million deal to remain in South Beach, and he has continued to prove his worth by increasing his targets, receptions and yards every season over the past three years.
Furthermore, with Jarvis Landry and Julius Thomas's exits from the team, there are 223 targets from last year’s passing totals unaccounted for. That’s about 37 percent of the team’s 2017 pass attempts that will have to find a new home. There's no reason that the Dolphins wouldn't send some of them in the direction of their 32-million-dollar man.
Even assuming that Stills gains just 10 of those freebie targets, based on his PPR points per touch with Miami, we could be looking at a 200-point player. That's good for a top-20 finish among wide receivers last year.
