1. Adam Thielen Is the Vikes' Top Target

Adam Thielen is quietly leading the NFL in targets (44), and he is second in receptions (32).

Thielen, of course, is part of a potent one-two punch with fellow Minnesota Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs. So far in 2018, outside of a touchdown disparity, Thielen is out-producing Diggs at every turn.

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is treating Thielen as his number-one receiver, peppering him with 15 more targets (44 to 29) than Diggs has gotten. And they are money targets as Thielen as owns an air yards market share of 44%, the third-best clip in the league, per airyards.com. To be fair, Diggs' mark of 38.0% is the eighth-highest air yards market share, so he's clearly a top-shelf asset, too, just one who may be more volatile.

Thielen and Diggs will both have big games this season, but Thielen will likely have the safer weekly floor, especially in PPR leagues.

2. Are Albert Wilson and/or Jakeem Grant for Real?

The Miami Dolphins have surprised on a variety of levels with their record, place in their division and fantasy impact.

Kenny Stills is the top receiving option in Miami. To date, he has posted nine grabs for 184 yards and 3 touchdowns on 13 targets. But there are two Miami receivers on his heels.

In Week 3, Albert Wilson posted the third-fastest play of the young season, when he took a catch 74 yards for a touchdown. Wilson’s touchdown catch and run came in at 21.74 miles per hour, according to Next Gen Stats. Only two plays by Tyreek Hill have measured faster than Wilson’s Week 3 dash.

Wilson and Jakeem Grant have been exciting but head-scratchers as the second and third receiving options so far for the Dolphins.

Wilson has 8 receptions (on 11 targets) for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns. While Grant owns 9 receptions (on a team-leading 14 targets) for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns. The touchdown production is eye-popping, and so are the big-play numbers as Stills' average yards per reception is 20.4, followed by Wilson 17.8 and Grant 15.0.

Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill is slinging the ball downfield, and with Miami at 3-0, they probably aren't too keen to making many changes to their aerial attack.

There is one possible wrinkle, however, in DeVante Parker, who should provide a dent into some of Grant and Wilson’s targets. But until Parker proves he can stay on the field and stay healthy, Wilson and Grant could be deep bench stashes or bye-week flex plays.
