3 Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Options for Week 5
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Yahoo Ownership: 8%
Let's get this out of the way from the jump -- starting Josh Allen could go south in a hurry. Allen has four picks through three starts and is barely completing half his attempts (53.4%). Given his spotty prospect profile and the utter lack of weapons in Buffalo, any Allen start -- regardless of the matchup -- could end up being a complete dud.
While there is immense risk, Allen does check some boxes this week. The biggest plus in his corner is his running ability. The rookie has rushed for 116 yards and 2 scores on 27 carries. His yards-per-game rushing output, starting with Week 1, reads: 26, 32, 39 and 19, with both running scores coming in Week 3.
The matchup this week isn't a bad one by any stretch as the Bills host the Titans, the team with the 12th-worst pass defense, per our schedule-adjusted metrics.
Our models have Allen as the QB22 this week, putting him firmly on the streaming radar and making him a tough sit in two-quarterback formats.
