5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 10

Zach Ertz had another monster game for the Eagles, racking up a week-high 40.5 PPR points. Which other statistical nuggets stand out after Week 10?

Week 10 of the NFL season saw several significant milestones achieved by some of the greatest players of our era, if not all time.

One of the front runners for the MVP award, Drew Brees passed for 265 yards and 3 touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals. He is now second all-time in career touchdown passes, with 509. He needs another 31 to overtake Peyton Manning for the all-time lead, sometime he may be able to do in 2019.

Larry Fitzgerald is now second all-time in career receiving yards, with 15,952, overtaking Terrell Owens. Fitzgerald is the only player in the top five in yards who has gained all his yards with a single team, and he is also the only one of the top five who has never played a single game for the San Francisco 49ers.

Speaking of the 49ers, Frank Gore, a former San Fran back, eclipsed 500 rushing yards for the season in the Miami Dolphins' loss to the Green Bay Packers. This is the 14th consecutive season with at least 500 rushing yards for Gore, the longest streak in NFL history.

Julio Jones finished a Week 10 loss against the Cleveland Browns with 107 yards, giving him 10,094 for his career with the Atlanta Falcons. Jones reached 10,000 yards in his 104th career game, faster than any other player in NFL history. The previous record was 115 games, done by former Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson

Here’s a closer look at five more statistical nuggets – both traditional as well as our advanced statistics – that emerged from Week 10.
