Week 14 Fantasy Football Market Share Report: Dante Pettis Is Coming On

Pettis has emerged as a go-to wideout for the 49ers. Which other usage trends should you take note of?

In Week 13, 15 running backs got at least 16 carries in an era in which the split backfield feels like the norm, and 21 backs handled 13 or more carries. It’s playoff time, cold weather time, injuries have hit across the league and the bell-cow running backs have returned.

It’s not rocket science, but finding the players handling either the majority of the work or their team’s largest share is a great starting point to building your playoff starting lineup.

Targets aren’t everything, but they sure don’t hurt when trying to figure out which receivers might blow up.

Nine of the top 20 receivers in Week 13 saw double-digit targets. But only 9 receivers went over 100 yards, and among the 9, only 4 had double-digit targets. Sometimes opportunity and success collide, and sometimes it takes only targets in the right area of the field.

What market share trends should you take note of heading into Week 14?
