For some reason, Brandon Marshall is consistently one of the more overlooked wide receivers, especially when the average fantasy football fan talks about that “elite” group. But why is this? Is it because he’s never had a season with less than 100 receptions when Jay Cutler was his starting quarterback? Is it the fact that he’s finished top five in fantasy scoring among wide receivers over the past two years? No, no, it has to be because he’s hasn’t missed a single start in three season, right?

The point I’m trying to make is Marshall, with Cutler, has been one of the most consistent and elite wide receivers in the NFL and fantasy football. These top four receivers that have already been listed are four of the safest, most dependable pass-catchers in the game. You don’t necessarily spend a top pick on them because you think they’ll finish as the top dog. You do it because the chances of them slipping out of the top 10, by years end, are slim to none.
