Tony DelSignore picked up Rob Gronkowski at the start of the second round. Gronk has created his own tier as the top tight end. His Reception NEP last year paced the rest of the tight ends by a large margin and should continue to see similar success in 2015.
Pairing Calvin Johnson with Julio gives Aaron Watson arguably one of the best wide receiver combinations possible, as the second round was filled with wide receivers. our projections have a healthy Megatron as a top-three wide receiver.
I was happy to get Jordy Nelson as the sixth wide receiver taken. Nelson's consistency and potential for big value plays makes him one of my favorite mid-second round plays.
Recent news of LeSean McCoy's injured hamstring which will require an MRI caused a miniature slide for the new Bills running back to 18th overall.
Justin Forsett's climbing ADP throughout the offseason has made him a second round pick now if you're looking to secure Baltimore's talented running back who's expected to thrive in Marc Trestman's offense. Even in half-PPR formats, if you're expecting Forsett to continue Trestman's success that he had with Matt Forte as a receiving threat, you'll have to invest some serious draft capital.
Mike Evans makes it two sophomore wide receivers to land in the second round, as he should elevate the play of rookie quarterback Jameis Winston and has everything pointing in the right direction for him to join the elite tier at wide receiver.
