Plugging the Gaps: IDP Waiver Wire for Week 4

Koa Misi, Linebacker

Koa Misi was a highly-drafted outside linebacker prospect back in 2010, becoming the Miami Dolphins’ second-round pick that year. He’s evaded much recognition for his defensive ability in that span of time; he’s played more than 500 snaps in a season just twice, eclipsed 50 tackles in a season just twice, and had 5 or more tackles for a loss just once. In 2015, however, all of that has changed. Misi is the starting strong-side linebacker for the team and has a guaranteed position as a three-down linebacker. He’s turned that into a ranking as the 35th-best balanced scoring fantasy linebacker in 2015.

This is only a sample of why Misi is a strong streaming candidate for Week 4. This week, he and his Dolphins get to go up against the New York Jets, which should see Misi accumulate plenty of tackle chances, especially if power back Chris Ivory is healthy.
