FanDuel Daily Fantasy Football Helper: Week 12

If you've never played daily fantasy football on FanDuel before, it's time to start. Unlike traditional leagues, you're able to select the players you want on that specific day only, giving you a different squad to root for each and every week.

Here at numberFire we offer great tools for premium members. The analysis below is meant to help you understand why some of these players are top picks in our tools and projections because we don't want you going into the weekend completely blind. We want to help you. Keep in mind, however, that things can change drastically if an injury is announced, so make sure you're double checking the tools and projections as close as possible to kickoff.

Let's get to it!

Quarterbacks

Tom Brady, New England Patriots ($9,100)

Tom Brady has been completely on his own level this season, leading all passers in Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back (0.45) by a wide margin, and he is also pacing the position in FanDuel points per game (24.3). He is coming off of his second four-touchdown game of the year and gets an even better matchup this week, according to our metrics. His opponent, the New York Jets, rank 27th in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per drop back. They've hardly played elite competition, either. According to Passing NEP per drop back, they've have faced just two top-12 quarterbacks this season (Russell Wilson and Ben Roethlisberger), and they allowed them to combine for 689 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Brady's price tag is restrictive, but he is clearly the top option on the board this week. This fact is reflected in our projections, where he is not only the top projected point scorer at quarterback, but the best value on the slate, as well.
