10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets Heading Into Week 10

We're ready to set sail toward Week 10, and here are some of the best additions you can make to your squads this week. (I'll stick to players rostered on no more than 60% of Yahoo teams and also list some other viable pickups who may be available in shallower leagues or relevant only in deeper leagues).

Quarterbacks
Daniel Jones, Giants

Roster Percentage: 40%

Daniel Jones is a top streaming option this week. Jones and the New York Giants will be at home against the Houston Texans, a team that came into Week 9 with the third-worst defense, per our schedule-adjusted metrics. Big Blue is a 6.5-point favorite.

Jones' fantasy outlook is boosted by his legs. He's run for at least 20 yards in every game but one, including spike weeks of 107, 68 and 79 yards. That raises both his floor and ceiling, and Jones should be a quality option in Week 10.

Others to Consider:
Justin Fields (69%; vs. Detroit), Marcus Mariota (33%; at Carolina), Kenny Pickett (7%; vs. New Orleans), Derek Carr (66%; vs. Indianapolis)

Running Backs
Jeff Wilson Jr., Dolphins

Roster Percentage: 52%

Going into Week 9, the assumption was that new arrival Jeff Wilson Jr. would take a back seat to Raheem Mostert in the Miami Dolphins' backfield -- at least for Wilson's first game. That didn't happen.

Wilson out-snapped Mostert 27 to 24 and looked really good, turning 12 total touches (nine carries) into 72 total yards and a score. Mostert, meanwhile, also got nine carries but ended up with just 26 rushing yards. Mostert failed to catch either of his two targets -- making a bad drop on one of them -- while Wilson snagged all three of his.

If this is the role Wilson gets in a short week with Miami, it sure bodes well for his rest-of-season outlook. There's every chance these two split things the rest of the way, but Wilson looks to already have the upper hand.

Miami has solid matchups in its next two games -- Cleveland Browns and Houston -- and Wilson profiles as, at worst, an RB3/flex option with upside for more.

Rachaad White, Buccaneers

Roster Percentage: 34%

Rachaad White has been a recommended add a few times this year as his role has increased in some games and has, at times, hinted that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' backfield will be more of a timeshare moving forward. We got another one of those outings in Week 9.

White logged eight carries for 27 yards and caught all three of his targets for seven yards. Leonard Fournette totaled nine carries for 19 yards and five catches for 41 yards.

The Bucs' offense has been out of sorts all season, and they haven't been able to run the ball. It's not crazy to think that White's role will grow as Fournette keeps turning in underwhelming performances. With that said, White's upside is capped barring an injury to Lenny, making him a bench stash.

Jordan Wilkins, Colts

Roster Percentage: 0%

The Indianapolis Colts' offense is one you're just dying to get exposure to -- I know. But running-back touches are running-back touches, and Jordan Wilkins might be in line for a good role in Week 10.

Wilkins operated as Deon Jackson's top backup in Week 9, and Jackson ended up departing early with a knee injury. Jonathan Taylor didn't get on the practice field at all last week as he also deals with an injury, so there's a chance Wilkins is Indy's lead back in Week 10.

The matchup is a nice one as the Colts take on the Las Vegas Raiders. Wilkins is a speculative add at this point, but he could jump into the flex mix if Jackson and Taylor are both out in Week 10.

Zack Moss, who was inactive in his Colts' debut, should be on your radar, too.

Isaiah Spiller, Chargers

Roster Percentage: 3%

Often times we see teams make personnel/usage changes coming out of their bye week, and we got that with the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9. Isaiah Spiller ran as the clear number-two option behind Austin Ekeler, apparently moving ahead of Sony Michel. Joshua Kelley is on IR but is eligible to come off in Week 10.

Coming into Week 9, Spiller had just one carry for the year. He gobbled up seven rushes in Week 9.

Obviously, this is Ekeler's show, but Spiller is now first in line for work behind the Chargers' star back, making him an appealing bench stash -- although Kelley could complicate things whenever he returns.

Others to Consider:
Alexander Mattison (45%), Kyren Williams (42%), Isiah Pacheco (30%), Jerick McKinnon (14%), Kenneth Gainwell (14%), Zack Moss (4%)

Wide Receivers
George Pickens, Steelers

Roster Percentage: 56%

George Pickens is probably rostered in most competitive leagues, but with him still available in more than 40% of Yahoo leagues, I have to write him up.

Pickens was a big trade-deadline winner. The Pittsburgh Steelers dealing away Chase Claypool means there are more snaps and targets available to the stud rookie. Pickens had already seen at least six looks in every game since Week 2, showing good rapport with Kenny Pickett.

Pickens needs to be universally rostered; he could be one of the breakout players over the second half of the campaign.

Odell Beckham Jr., Free Agent

Roster Percentage: 23%

The landing spot remains up in the air, but Odell Beckham Jr. will reportedly be cleared to resume playing by the end of this week. That report also lists some mouth-watering destinations -- including the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams.

OBJ may need time to ramp up, so he makes more sense as a pickup in deeper leagues. He could wind up being a fantasy difference-maker down the stretch, though, so if you have room on your bench, now is a good time to get in.

Terrace Marshall Jr., Panthers

Roster Percentage: 6%

I wrote up Terrace Marshall Jr. in last week's waiver piece, and he deserves another mention. Everything I said a week ago still holds true.

Marshall's fantasy stock has benefitted from Carolina trading away Robbie Anderson. Marshall has now played at least 86% of the snaps in three straight games, and he's totaled a combined seven receptions for 140 yards and a score over the last two weeks, going for at least 53 yards in both games.

Playing for a Panthers team that figures to see plenty of negative game scripts, Marshall's arrow is pointing up.

Others to Consider:
Kadarius Toney (55%), Michael Gallup (39%), Wan'Dale Robinson (25%), Donovan Peoples-Jones (21%), Treylon Burks (17%)

Tight Ends
Greg Dulcich, Broncos

Roster Percentage: 35%

With how much we're always starved for tight-end production, I'm having a hard time figuring out why Greg Dulcich is rostered in just 35% of Yahoo leagues.

Since debuting in Week 6, Dulcich has gone for at least 44 yards in every game while making 17 total catches. He's played more than 70% of the snaps in two of his three games, running as the clear-cut number-one tight end for the Denver Broncos.

Dulcich has the looks of a guy you can start every week for the rest of the season. If he's on your waiver wire, go get him. You might be able to add him now with Denver on a bye this week.

Others to Consider:
Pat Freiermuth (72%), Noah Fant (10%), Logan Thomas (9%)

Defenses
New York Giants D/ST

Roster Percentage: 7%

We started this article with the Giants, and we'll end with the Giants.

The New York Giants D/ST stands out in the aforementioned matchup with the Texans. The Giants are 6.5-point home favorites, and if they are able to get out to a lead, their defense will have chances to get after Davis Mills. That sounds like a recipe for fantasy success.

With the Giants on a bye this week, you can pick them up right now (prior to Monday's game) if your league allows it.
