FanDuel Single-Game Daily Fantasy Football Helper: Week 18 Sunday Night (Lions at Packers)
In a unique fantasy format, single-game slates feature five flex spots with identical scoring to the main slate. However, kickers are included in these contests, and there is an "MVP" roster slot. The MVP receives 1.5-times his total fantasy points, making this spot crucial.
Our Brandon Gdula has done a deep dive on single-game strategy, and we have projections for the single-game slate if you select the game from the slate tab. It's worth checking out both of those things before you make your lineups.
Aaron Rodgers ($16,000): Despite a relatively low ceiling at 19.4 FanDuel points this season, Green Bay's superstar quarterback is numberFire's top option (19.3 FanDuel points) against a Detroit Lions allowing the most fantasy points per game (23.2) to his position. The Lions rank near the bottom in several defensive passing metrics including 30th in passing yards per game (249.4), 32nd in yards per completion (11.9), and 24th in passing touchdowns (1.4).
Jared Goff ($15,000): Despite a tough matchup versus a Green Bay Packers' defense rated 12th (15.4) in FanDuel points allowed per game to quarterbacks, Goff is ranked second among tonight's slate with 16.4 expected FanDuel points. Since Week 11, the 28-year old has been a steady performer, averaging 21.2 FanDuel points including 25 completions for 2.3 touchdowns and 295.3 yards.
Amon-Ra St. Brown ($14,000): After seeing a season-low five targets in Week 17, Detroit's lead wideout will attempt to rebound against a defense standing tenth in fantasy points (25.6) allowed to his position. St. Brown is ranked first among all pass catchers on Sunday night in targets (8.5), receptions (6.0), and yards (71.9) while averaging 1.91 fantasy points in man coverage and 1.72 in zone per Player Profiler.
Aaron Jones ($13,500): Even in a tough opportunity against a Detroit defense allowing 18.7 FanDuel points per game to running backs, Jones rates first in touches (15.4), scrimmage yards (88.3) and total touchdowns (0.63). Since Green Bay's bye week despite dealing with some injuries, the 28-year old is still averaging 12.3 rushing attempts for 75.3 yards and 2.6 receptions for 15.6 yards.
D'Andre Swift ($13,000): In an underrated spot against a Packers' unit ranked 22nd (21.2) in fantasy production allowed to his position, Swift rates third on his team with 10.9 expected FanDuel points including 10.2 touches for 67.1 scrimmage yards. While the 23-year old has seen inconsistent playing time, Detroit's second-year back has still averaged 12 touches in his last five contests.
Jamaal Williams ($12,500): Coming off his best rushing performance of the season (22 attempts for 144 yards) last week, Williams has another matchup to produce versus a defense allowing running backs to record 114.1 rushing yards per game. In a primary red zone role, the former Packer has logged an eye-popping 42 touches inside the opposing ten-yard line including 29 inside the five.
A.J. Dillon ($11,500): During Green Bay's recent four game winning streak, Dillon has emerged with a larger role in their backfield, averaging 13 carries for 51.5 yards and 2 receptions for 18.2 yards. The 24-year old has also been utilized as their main rushing option in the money zone with 10 carries inside the opposing ten-yard line and five inside the five.
Christian Watson ($11,000): Despite last week's lackluster performance, Green Bay's rookie wideout is rated as their top pass catcher with 4.1 receptions for 56.3 yards on 6.7 targets. With 25.4% of his targets occurring 20 or more yards down the field, Watson has a great matchup to make explosive plays versus a Lions' secondary allowing receivers to accumulate 31.6 FanDuel points and 192.4 yards per game.
Allen Lazard ($10,000): Ranking second among his team's pass catchers, Lazard is another option to consider with 4.1 expected receptions for 51.2 yards on 6.7 targets. In 11 games playing alongside Watson this season, Lazard is averaging 3.8 receptions for 51.9 yards on 6.5 targets.
Mason Crosby ($9,000) / Mike Badgley ($9,000): The Packers' veteran kicker has converted 82.8% of his 29 field goal attempts and 98.0% of his extra point tries in 16 home games since 2021 while Badgley has produced a 91.7% field goal percentage on 12 attempts in six road games this season.
D.J. Chark ($8,500): In a primary outside role (75% of his snaps) with 36.2% of his targets between 10-to-19 yards and 31.9% thrown 20 or more yards, Chark is projected for 4.7 targets versus a Green Bay team ranked 26th (10.8 yards) in yards allowed per completion.
Romeo Doubs ($8,000): Since his return in Week 15, Doubs has maintained a part-time role in Green Bay's passing attack, averaging 3.6 receptions for 37 yards on five targets. The 22-year old rookie is ranked third among his team in targets (5.4), receptions (3.2), and yards (36.8).
Robert Tonyan ($7,500): The Packers' veteran tight end is projected for 3.7 targets in a sneaky matchup against a defense ranked 27th in fantasy points (11.5) and 31st in touchdowns (0.7) allowed per game to his position
