Elijah McGuire (foot) on track to be activated for Jets Week 9
New York Jets running back Elijah McGuire (foot) is "trending toward playing" in Week 9 versus the Miami Dolphins, head coach Todd Bowles said.
McGuire returned to practice two weeks ago for the first time after breaking his foot in training camp. He's expected to replace Trenton Cannon as Isaiah Crowell's backfield mate. McGuire rushed 88 times for 315 yards and 1 touchdown and caught 17 passes (26 targets) for 177 yards and 1 touchdown as a rookie.
numberFire's models project McGuire to score 5.5 FanDuel points at a cost of $4,900 in Week 9. He's currently the RB43 in our weekly fantasy rankings.
