Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon (groin) officially active for Super Bowl Sunday
The Kansas City Chiefs will have Jerick McKinnon (groin) available for Sunday's Super Bowl game against the San Francisco 49ers.
McKinnon has returned from the injured reserve and will suit up to take on his former team. The veteran back took a backseat to teammate Isiah Pacheco as a rusher, but remained involved as a pass-catcher and near the goal line prior to his injury earlier this season. With McKinnon active, backup running back La'Mical Perine was left off the game day lineup.
McKinnon has a $5,500 salary on FanDuel and is projected for 3.4 FanDuel points in today's game. He scored 5 touchdowns in 12 games during the regular season.
