Phillip Lindsay injures wrist, hopeful to play in Broncos' finale
Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay (wrist) is hopeful to play in Week 17 versus the Los Angeles Chargers.
Lindsay was forced to make an early exit from Monday's loss to the Oakland Raiders due to the wrist injury. The undrafted rookie believes it's "just a sprain" and says he will play if able in the Broncos' season finale. He finished with 10 carries for 46 yards and had 2 receptions (2 targets) for 11 yards in Week 16.
Taking the injury into account, numberFire's models conservatively expect Lindsay to log 7.8 touches in Week 17 and score 6.1 FanDuel points, at a cost of $7,600.
