Giants ship Odell Beckham Jr. to Cleveland
New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been traded to the Cleveland Browns, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
After weeks of Giants general manager Dave Gettleman insisting "we didn't sign [Odell] to trade him," the team sends him to join up with Baker Mayfield and the rising Browns. Heading back to New York will be the No. 17 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, a third-round pick in the 2019 draft, and safety Jabrill Peppers.
In 12 games last season, Beckham Jr. had 77 catches for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns.
