Ravens' Mark Andrews (ankle) could return for AFC Championship game
When asked about tight end Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh replied, "We'll just see how it goes. If he's ready to play, he'll play."
Andrews was able to log back-to-back full practices to close out the Ravens' week ahead of their Divisional Round matchup with the Houston Texans, but was ultimately left inactive for that game as he continues to work his way back to full health. The team appears to be playing it safe with their star tight end, but it sounds like he might be aiming for a return this coming weekend.
Even in a relatively "down" year, Andrews still finished 17th in the league in receiving yards (544) and tied for second place in touchdowns (6) at the tight end position, despite playing in just 10 games. His return could give the Ravens' already-strong passing attack another boost if he can suit up against the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend.
