Panthers' Cam Newton (foot) ruled out in Week 3
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton will not play on Sunday in the team's Week 3 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Newton is dealing with a foot injury, and he missed practice all week as a result of it. He was visibly hampered in the team's Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and now he'll be sidelined with an injury. Kyle Allen will now be under center against Kyler Murray and Co.
On 89 pass attempts this season, Newton has 50 completions with 572 yards and an interception. On the ground, he's rushed just five times for minus two yards.
