Hockenson 'trending towards playing' for Lions Monday night
Detroit Lions rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson (concussion) is "trending towards playing" against the Green Bay Packers in Week 6 on Monday night, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.
Hockenson needs to get through another practice on Friday and then be re-evaluated by doctors before being cleared, but he's on track to suit up for Monday's NFC North matchup. The top-10 pick has totaled 35 yards and a score on 5 catches in three games since erupting for 131 yards and a touchdown in his NFL debut.
Hockenson is the TE10 in numberFire's Week 6 fantasy rankings. He's projected for 6.7 FanDuel points, at a cost of $5,400. The Packers are tied for 6th in fewest FanDuel points allowed per game to opposing tight ends.
