Ravens sign running back J.K. Dobbins to rookie deal
The Baltimore Ravens have signed second-round pick J.K. Dobbins to his rookie contract.
The Ravens didn't necessarily need any additional help at the running back position, with Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, and Justice Hill all on the team already, but reportedly couldn't pass up Dobbins in the second round due to their first-round grade on him. Dobbins should be an incredibly exciting rookie for fantasy drafts this year on the league's best rushing offense.
Dobbins posted at least 1,000 rushing yards in each of his three seasons at Ohio State, including an impressive 2,003-yard 2019 season, as well as at least 20 receptions in each season. He was on fire in the final four games of his collegiate career, amassing over 150 rushing yards in each game and 8 rushing touchdowns in that span. He projects to play behind Ingram in year one, but could become an elite fantasy option before long.
