Ravens release Earl Thomas
The Baltimore Ravens released defensive back Earl Thomas on Sunday for personal conduct that adversely affected the team.
Thomas reportedly punched teammate Chuck Clark during an altercation at training camp and the Ravens have decided to move on. The former seven-time Pro Bowler is now free to sign with another team. After failing to land Jamal Adams earlier in the offseason, the Dallas Cowboys are reportedly frontrunners to sign Thomas as they look to improve their secondary.
Thomas was Pro Football Focus' 15th graded safety last season, and he earned their 9th highest grade for coverage at the position.
