Josh Gordon re-signs with Seahawks for 2020
The Seattle Seahawks re-signed wide receiver Josh Gordon to a one-year, $1 million contract.
Gordon is currently suspended by the league for multiple violations, but he has applied for reinstatement and is awaiting the result. The 29-year-old receiver drew just 11 targets in five games for the Seahawks last year and he only played more than 40.0 percent of the offensive snaps in one game. He could potentially emerge as Seattle's third receiver behind D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
Gordon only averaged 38.7 yards over 11 games for the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks last season, but his 15.8 yards per catch ranked 16th among 181 players with at least 25 receptions. He also ranked 25th in numberFire's advanced per-target receiving metric out of 100 receivers with at least 40 targets.
