Giants' Kadarius Toney (ankle) ruled out in Week 6
New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of the team's Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Toney was off to a blazing start in Week 6, catching 3 balls for 36 yards on the Giants' first drive while displaying his signature elusiveness after the catch. Unfortunately, he appeared to aggravate the ankle injury that had been bothering him during the week, and was promptly ruled out from returning.
Toney compiled 22 targets over the past 2 games, with 16 catches for 267 yards as the team's top receiver. The Giants will need to rely heavily on Sterling Shepard with him sidelined.
