Vacchiano: Giants' Kadarius Toney (ankle) expected to miss at least 1 game
According to Ralph Vacchiano, New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle) is expected to miss at least one game.
Per Vacchiano despite Toney's expected absence, the Giants believe his recovery will take less time than a potential stint on the Injured Reserve. Sterling Shepard would likely see more targets in Week 7's contest against the Carolina Panthers and in other potential matchups if Toney were to miss extended time.
Shepard' curent Week 7 projection includes 5.4 receptions for 60.3 yards on 8.4 targets.
