Seahawks trading Russell Wilson to Broncos for multiple firsts, Drew Lock
The Denver Broncos are acquiring quarterback Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks.
The Seahawks are reportedly receiving multiple first-round draft picks from the Broncos, as well as additional draft choices and players, including quarterback Drew Lock. Wilson's departure from Seattle is a drastic downgrade for D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, but his arrival in Denver sets up Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, Noah Fant, and Tim Patrick for career years. Wilson turned 33 last November.
Among all quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs last season, Wilson ranked 19th with 0.11 Passing Net Expected Points per drop back. He finished 13th in FanDuel points per game at his position (17.8).
