Cowboys will not trade up from 34
The Dallas Cowboys will not trade up from the 34th pick, ESPN Cowboys reporter Todd Archer confirmed.
A report surfaced that Dallas was looking to swing a deal with Cleveland for the No. 32 pick but ESPN's Ed Werder poured water on that rumor a few hours ago. Now Archer has confirmed that Dallas will indeed stand pat at No. 34. The Cowboys are fully expected to draft a pass rusher with Clemson's Kevin Dodd and Eastern Kentucky's Noah Spence both potential targets.
The Cowboys ranked 22nd in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play last season.
