Chargers' Josh Palmer clears concussion protocol
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Josh Palmer has cleared the league's concussion protocol.
Palmer was placed in the concussion protocol after playing in last Saturday's preseason game. He caught 3 passes on 4 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown in the contest. Palmer appeared to be ahead of Jalen Guyton in the competition for the No. 3 receiver job behind Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, so the brief stint absence shouldn't impact things too much.
Palmer is currently the WR88 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 50.1 targets, 31.4 receptions, 369.3 yards, and 2.69 touchdowns.
