Vikings' Irv Smith Jr. (thumb) feels "great," is 100 percent healthy
Minnesota Vikings tight end Irv Smith Jr. is fully healthy, according to the man himself.
Smith was dealing with a thumb ailment during training camp. However, he didn't carry any injury designation into the weekend to kick off the 2022 season. He practiced in full all week, and Saturday, he said, "I feel great," clarifying his thumb is "100 percent" healthy. It's an auspicious start to what could be a breakout season for Smith.
Our models project Smith for 3.2 catches, 30.7 yards, 0.2 touchdowns and 6.0 FanDuel points against Green Bay on Sunday.
