Chargers' Justin Herbert (ribs) a game-time decision in Week 3
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (ribs) will make a decision in pregame warmups as to whether or not he will play in the team's Week 3 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Herbert was in visible agony as he finished out the team's Week 2 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and will decide during pregame warmups in Week 3 whether or not he feels safe taking a pregame injection for his pain and playing through the injury. If he is unable to play, Chase Daniel would be expected to take his place.
Herbert has an $8,200 salary on FanDuel, but will face a Jaguars defense that has appeared to turn things around after last year's brutal season. The Jaguars rank fourth in the league heading into the week in quarterback knockdown rate (14.1%), which could factor into Herbert's decision.
