Mark Andrews (wrist) expected to practice for Ravens next week

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews (wrist) is expected to practice next week and play in Week 1 against the Houston Texans, per head coach John Harbaugh.

What It Means:

Andrews remained out of practice on Monday after initially injuring his wrist last week. “You don’t need to panic about that,” Harbaugh said. “Tell the fans it’s going to be OK. He should be out there practicing next week. I expect him to play in the game and he should be fine. That’s where we’re at with that.” The Ravens are likely just erring on the side of caution with Andrews before the season starts. He had an underwhelming season last year, but with Lamar Jackson healthy and Todd Monken in charge at offensive coordinator, Andrews could hit the 1,000-yard mark for the second time in 2023.

Andrews is the TE2 in numberFire's preseason rankings and our models project him to lead the Ravens with 129.9 targets, 85.5 receptions, 949.0 yards, and 7.89 touchdowns.
