The Colts officially placed Anthony Richardson (shoulder) on injured reserve Wednesday, setting up Minshew as the starter through at least Week 9. However, Richardson might reportedly miss up to eight weeks, so Minshew could remain under center into mid-December. The offense isn't expected to suffer with Minshew under center, and Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs should continue to see the bulk of targets. The Colts are visiting a tough Jacksonville Jaguars defense in Week 6.

Among the projected starting quarterbacks, Minshew's $6,500 salary is tied with Zach Wilson for second-lowest of the week.
