Mark Andrews (ankle) expected to be done for Ravens this season

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews likely suffered a season-ending ankle injury in Thursday night's 34-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, per head coach John Harbaugh.

What It Means:

Andrews came out hot Thursday with 2 catches for 23 yards on 2 targets, but his night ended after just seven snaps. Isaiah Likely will take over as the Ravens' primary tight end moving forward. He was only targeted twice in a positive game script versus the Bengals, but Likely played 74 percent of the snaps. The second-year tight end should be more involved in the passing game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12. Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman also stand to benefit from Andrews' injury.

Andrews averaged 6.6 targets in nine healthy games this season and recorded a 20.3 percent target share, despite basically missing two full games. Likely popped off for 100 yards in Week 18 last year and 11.1 percent of his catches went for 20-plus yards. The Chargers are allowing the fifth-most FanDuel points per game to tight ends this season, so Likely will have a plus matchup as a starter.
