Rico Dowdle (ankle) sidelined again Tuesday for Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle (ankle) is a non-participant again at practice on Tuesday for Week 12 against the Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving.
Dowdle was also listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate. The Cowboys might be managing Dowdle's reps on a short week, but back-to-back absences makes him uncertain for Thursday's matchup. Deuce Vaughn and Hunter Luepke could see touches in a positive game script if Dowdle is unavailable.
Dowdle is the RB45 in numberFire's Week 12 rankings and our models project him for 4.9 FanDuel points, with 6.8 carries, 27.6 rushing yards, 0.7 receptions, and 4.3 receiving yards. The Commanders are ranked 19th in FanDuel points allowed per game to running backs this season and their run defense is 18th in our opponent-adjusted rankings.
