Titans' Derrick Henry avoids concussion
Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is not in the NFL concussion protocol, per head coach Mike Vrabel.
Adam Schefter of ESPN said Henry entered protocol after exiting Sunday's game versus the Indianapolis Colts, but Vrabel said the running back worked out Monday morning and is fine. Barring any setbacks, Henry should be available when the Titans face the Miami Dolphins next Monday night in Week 14. Third-round rookie Tyjae Spears will take over as the lead back if Henry is unavailable.
Henry played 34 of 85 snaps (40.0%) in Week 13 and scored 24.5 FanDuel points, with 21 carries, 102 rushing yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 catch, and 18 receiving yards. Spears played 57 offensive snaps (67.1%) and had 20 touches for 88 yards, with more than half of the volume coming after Henry exited.
