Chiefs place Skyy Moore (knee) on injured reserve following Week 15
The Kansas City Chiefs have placed wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) on the injured reserve following their Week 15 victory over the New England Patriots.
Moore suffered a knee injury during the Chiefs' win and will now miss the remainder of the 2023 season on the injured reserve. The second-year wideout had seen his playing time dip in recent weeks with the emergence of rookie Rashee Rice, but will hopefully be able to bounce back and become a contributor in the offense in 2024.
Moore will finish his sophomore campaign with 21 catches for 244 yards and a touchdown. He had been playing a significant share of the team's offensive snaps earlier in the year but had trouble establishing himself as a consistent player in the receiving game.
