Vikings' T.J. Hockenson (knee) will not return to Week 16 battle
The Minnesota Vikings have ruled out tight end T.J. Hockenson (knee) for the remainder of their Week 16 game against the Detroit Lions.
Hockenson took a huge hit to his knee in the second half of Sunday's game and was ruled out after quick evaluations on the sideline and in the locker room. Hopefully Hockenson is able to avoid a multi-week absence.
Hockenson was having another busy day as a pass-catcher, logging 4 more grabs for 58 yards against his former team. With both he and Jordan Addison (ankle) sidelined, the Vikings will have to lean on Justin Jefferson and K.J. Osborn to move the ball.
