Isiah Pacheco (concussion/shoulder) idle Wednesday for Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (concussion/shoulder) is not practicing on Wednesday for Week 17 versus the Cincinnati Bengals.
Pacheco suffered a concussion on Monday versus the Las Vegas Raiders. If he can't clear protocol before Sunday's game against the Bengals, the Chiefs will use Clyde Edwards-Helaire as their lead back. La'Mical Perine would play the pass-catching role after Jerick McKinnon was placed on injured reserve last week.
The Bengals have the second-worst run defense in the NFL this season, according to numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings, so it's a plus matchup for the Chiefs' backfield.
