Rashee Rice (hamstring) idle again Thursday for Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice (hamstring) will not practice on Thursday for Week 18 versus the Los Angeles Chargers.
Rice will remain out for a second straight practice. The Chiefs are locked into the No. 3 seed in the AFC and they already said Blaine Gabbert will start in place of Patrick Mahomes (rest), so Rice could be held out as well. Skyy Moore will be in line for more work if Rice is inactive.
The Chargers are allowing the third-most FanDuel points per game to wide receivers this season and their pass defense is also ranked third-worst in numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency metrics.
