Patriots officially acquire Josh Gordon from Browns for 2019 fifth-round pick
The New England Patriots acquired wide receiver Josh Gordon from the Cleveland Browns.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Browns will receive a 2019 fifth-round pick as compensation. If Gordon is not active for at least 10 games, the Patriots will yield a 2019 seventh-round pick. The 27-year-old could make his Patriots debut as early as Week 3 versus the Detroit Lions, although it remains to be seen how large of a role he will play initially.
Gordon, who didn't play Week 2, scored 8.2 FanDuel points in Week 1, in the form of a 17-yard touchdown on the only target he saw.
