Boston Bruins

Players to target: Drew Stafford, David Krejci/Ryan Spooner, and David Pastrnak

This is a stack you'll have to pay attention to since David Krejci's status is still up in the air. However, Ryan Spooner is actually a better individual Corsi player, so he would fill in nicely if Krecji were to miss another game. During the regular season, Stafford, Krejci, and Pastrnak had great possession numbers, including a 63.6 Corsi For per 60 minutes, 12.3 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes and a 56.2 Corsi For percentage.

The matchup here is tricky because of all the time Clarke MacArthur has missed over the last couple seasons. But if we go back to the 2014-15 season, we have some line data of MacArthur with Bobby Ryan and Kyle Turris.

In over 90 minutes of ice time together, they allowed 70.9 Corsi Against per 60 minutes and 10.8 Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes. While we can't fully rely on these numbers, we should see a high-paced matchup when these two lines square off. The advantage should go to the Bruins with one of the best goal-scorers in the league in David Pastrnak. Stack 'em up for a cheap correlation stack with a lot of upside.
