3 Daily Fantasy Hockey Stacks for 4/17/17
Calgary Flames
Players to target: Michael Frolik, Mikael Backlund, Dougie Hamilton, and Mark Giordano
We can go back to the well with the Calgary Flames' line tonight against the Anaheim Ducks. Frolik and Backlund combined for a short-handed goal in Game 2, but this line didn't produce much else besides that. We should see another matchup with the Ryan Getzlaf line, who allowed 56 Corsi Against per 60 minutes during the regular season.
This Flames' line should be low-owned since many DFS players will gravitate toward the John Gaudreau and Sean Monahan line, but the better possession numbers belong to Backlund's group (65.3 Corsi For per 60 minutes, 57 Corsi For percentage).
Hamilton and Giordano will play together at even strength and also the power play with Backlund and Frolik. The power play will be crucial for the Flames -- they have had five and three chances on the man-advantage in the first two games of the series, respectively. It's hard to beat the correlation upside for a four-man stack like this, and they are cheap on FanDuel (all $5,400 or less).
