3 Daily Fantasy NHL Stacks for Monday 11/21/22

In daily fantasy hockey, stacking is a key strategy in tournaments. We want to correlate our lineups with up to four players to maximize our upside -- if one player on a line is scoring goals, it's likely that his linemates are getting assists, as well.

Ideally, we want players who will get a lot of ice time together on an even-strength line and a power-play line. Two good resources for line combinations are LeftWingLock.com and DailyFaceoff.com, so be sure to check those sites for updated line information.

We've got a big Monday slate with 10 games, so let's dig into the best stacks for today.

St. Louis Blues

The St. Louis Blues have been the definition of a streaky team this season. They started off winning their first three games, then lost seven in a row, and have now won five in a row. They had a great game on Saturday in a 6-2 win, and they face the same opponent tonight.

St. Louis has two good lines to stack. The first line has Jordan Kyrou ($6,000), Robert Thomas ($5,900) and Pavel Buchnevich ($5,500) -- all correlated on the first power play. This line absolutely went off on Saturday, combining for 10 points. They are relatively modest salaried today for a first line in a great spot.

The second line was not as successful in the last game but is also fully correlated and won't break the bank. Wingers Brandon Saad ($3,700) and Josh Leivo ($3,700) are great values, and they play with Ryan O'Reilly ($5,100) as the center. This line is worth taking a shot at their easy-to-like salaries.

The Blues get a matchup against the team that has been the worst in the league to this point -- the Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks have yet to win a game in regulation and have allowed the most goals per game and most shots on goal per game. The Blues put six past them on Saturday.

St. Louis has an implied team total of 3.44 goals, and their players are extremely easy to jam in. You can stack a lot of other teams alongside them, making them a great building block on this slate.

Nashville Predators

The Nashville Predators are another streaky Central Division team like the Blues. Things were going poorly but now they've gotten points in four straight games -- against some tough opponents, too. The opponent tonight should be anything but tough.

Nashville's lines remained mostly the same for a lot of last season, but they've had to make changes this year. Filip Forsberg ($7,700) is still the main forward target you want, as he's been good with 18 points in 18 games. Mikael Granlund ($5,100) has shifted to the wing to make room for rookie Juuso Parssinen ($6,800) in the middle. The center's salary has gotten very high, but he does have three goals and five points in his first four games. These three will all play on the top power play with Roman Josi ($8,100), who is the best defenseman in fantasy hockey.

Nashville will get to face the Arizona Coyotes on Monday. Only the Ducks have fewer points than the Coyotes do, and Arizona has allowed the third-most goals per game in the league.

The Predators' first line has two players with huge ceilings in Josi and Forsberg, both of whom can break the slate and be the players you need to win a tournament.

San Jose Sharks

The San Jose Sharks are not contenders this season, but they have enough good players to make them fun in fantasy. In good matchups like tonight, they are in play as a team to stack.

The Sharks' offense has been driven by two players this season. Timo Meier ($8,200) leads the league in shots on goal and has 17 points in 20 games. Erik Karlsson ($8,800) has been in vintage form, with only Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid having more points than him. Tomas Hertl ($6,100) is tied with Meier with 17 points, and he plays on the top power play with the Sharks' two best players. Kevin Labanc ($4,500) is a good value to add to Meier and Hertl.

The Sharks will be at home versus the Ottawa Senators. Ottawa has not taken the next step toward contention after an eventful offseason. They are in the bottom six in the NHL in both goals allowed per game and shots allowed per game. The Sens will also be without Thomas Chabot, a top defenseman who tends to play a ton of minutes.

San Jose is a great team to stack tonight, and they offer a lot of upside in this matchup.

Others to Consider: Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames, Vegas Golden Knights
