Robinson Cano, 2B, Seattle Mariners

FanDuel Price: $4,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Jose Altuve has an excellent matchup, as do Jurickson Profar and Rougned Odor, both of whom are very underpriced. Robinson Cano also has a good matchup, but it's unlikely he is overly popular with those three players on the slate.

Why You Should Use Him:

Cano has now hit safely in five straight and has shown the ability to contribute even without getting a hit, averaging 13.7 FanDuel points over his past eight games. His 16 homers and 48 RBI both lead the position and make Cano one of the highest upside second basemen on a game-to-game basis.

Cano's matchup also offers some upside, as the Mariners will be facing the sometimes erratic right-hander Trevor Bauer. After a hot start to the season, Bauer has allowed at least three runs in six of his last seven starts, raising his ERA to 4.27. He has also allowed a homer in five of those seven games.

In his career, Bauer has struggled with lefties -- as evidenced by his 4.54 xFIP against them, which is up from a 4.16. He's also struggled while pitching outside of Progressive Field, which is surprising considering it is a hitter's park. He has a career 5.01 xFIP against lefties away from Progressive Field.

That is good news for Cano, who has crushed right-handed pitching in his career. This season has been no different, as Cano has elevated his hard-hit rate from 27 percent against lefties to 37.5 percent against righties.

Cano is one of the best tournament plays on the board today.
