5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 16
Terrelle Pryor Has Totaled 5.80 Standard Fantasy Points in His Past 3 Games
Terrelle Pryor has not been quite as hot as Nelson. In fact, his performance has been at the opposite end of the fantasy spectrum.
In his first full year as a starting wide receiver, Pryor flashed signs of elite potential. Such as in Week 3, when he caught 8 passes for 144 yards, or Week 6 when he found the end zone twice to go along with 75 receiving yards.
He currently sits at a very respectable 21st among wide receivers with 127.04 total fantasy points.
On the flip side, he only scored double-digit fantasy points in back-to-back weeks twice all season, and his performance has seriously declined. Over the past 3 games, he has caught 50% of targets for a total of 58 receiving yards and no touchdowns.
Notably for the Cleveland Browns, those three games were the first time since Week 1 where Robert Griffin III was under center. Pryor did not reach 5 receptions or 70 receiving yards and has no touchdown catches in any of the four games Griffin started for the Browns.
Among all wide receivers with 50 or more targets, Pryor still ranks 41st with 0.67 Reception NEP per target. In Week 17, he will have a great opportunity against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who allowed him to catch 5 passes for 97 yards in Week 11.
With Griffin recovering from another injury, Pryor may be back to catching passes from Cody Kessler.
