Jay Ajayi, RB, Miami Dolphins
Jay Ajayi is a tough player to peg this season. We saw what he could do last year behind a healthy offensive line, as Ajayi posted two 200-plus-yard games on the ground.
The Miami Dolphins ranked 22nd last year in FootballOutsiders' adjusted line yards, and they rank 26th by ProFootballFocus' preseason grades. Laremy Tunsil's move to left tackle and Branden Albert's trade (and eventual retirement) means there are again concerns with the line entering the year.
Miami also has a win-total of just seven games, according to the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. If they fall a game or two shy of that mark, that's probably going to ding Ajayi drastically, according to research done by Rich Hribar of Rotoworld.
Ajayi also hasn't shown the ability to produce via receptions. His 27 catches last year led to just 151 yards, and his 0.12 Reception NEP per catch ranked 213th among 226 backs with at least 25 catches since 2011.
Add in a concussion during practice on August 2nd, and the list of reasons to worry keeps growing. Ajayi has to be drafted just after the league's bellcow backs, but there are a lot of reasons to worry about his RB7 price tag.
